Sandra, originally from El Salvador, first came in contact with IslamInSpanish 12 years ago when Abu Mujahid Fletcher set up a dawah table in a public setting. She came to the table very interested to find out that there are spanish speaking muslims. Abu Mujahid spoke to her for a few minutes and gave her a spanish Quran. 

She had been following IslamInSpanish facebook page and learning through our different programs recently. That is when she found that we have the Centro Islamico and decided to come visit and this day she decided to take her shahada. Allahu akbar!

A Youth Minister Who Converted To Islam: Christmas Tree Is Forbidden In The Bible Because It's A Pagan Practice!

This Former Christian Minister went to study the Bible but he found a verses states that the Christmas tree is a pagan practice and considered a pagan idol so when he told his friends they said they can't follow the Bible and stop celebrating that pagan celebration simply because the Bible said so!!

It's also an irony that majority of the Christians celebrate the Christmas while Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) was not born in December at all!

According to the description in both the Bible and the Noble Qur'an he was not born in the winter season!

Not to mention the Christmas itself is not mentioned in the Bible!

It was a Roman Pagan celebration that was brought into Christianity by the Romans after they took over the Church and they covered it up by claiming it's the birthday of Jesus Christ!

 their idols cannot speak; they must be carried because they cannot walk. Do not fear them; they can do no harm nor can they do any good.”
