Sandra, originally from El Salvador, first came in contact with IslamInSpanish 12 years ago when Abu Mujahid Fletcher set up a dawah table in a public setting. She came to the table very interested to find out that there are spanish speaking muslims. Abu Mujahid spoke to her for a few minutes and gave her a spanish Quran.
She had been following IslamInSpanish facebook page and learning through our different programs recently. That is when she found that we have the Centro Islamico and decided to come visit and this day she decided to take her shahada. Allahu akbar!
